Bolt partners with the Stock Exchange of Thailand to host the “Happy Money: Financial Wellbeing Made Possible” workshop, strengthening financial literacy and long-term stability for digital-era workers

Bolt Thailand continues to strengthen its mission to support the financial wellbeing and long-term stability of drivers using the platform by joining hands with the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) to organize the “Happy Money: Financial Wellbeing Made Possible” workshop. The initiative is designed to equip drivers with essential knowledge of personal finance, saving, income management, and retirement planning — helping them build a strong foundation for their future. This initiative reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to empowering drivers with life skills that extend beyond their daily earnings, covering goal-oriented saving, debt management, family planning, and long-term financial stability. Nathadon Suksiritarnan, General Manager of Bolt Thailand, says, “Ride-hailing through digital platforms can offer opportunities for financial empowerment. This collaboration with the Stock Exchange of Thailand reflects Bolt’s belief that digital platforms can play a transformative role in improving people’s lives. By giving drivers using the Bolt platform access to practical financial knowledge, we’re helping them turn daily income into long-term stability and opportunity.” Platform work as a path to stability and growth Findings from Bolt’s recent nationwide survey with Kantar Insights Thailand highlight the transformative role of platform work in the country’s digital economy. According to the survey,

93% of drivers say platform work has improved their household’s financial stability.
Nearly half have achieved major milestones — 44% purchased a motorcycle, 43% a car, and 30% funded education for themselves or family members. On average, drivers earn 154% above Thailand’s national monthly wage, demonstrating the earning potential and flexibility of ride-hailing.

Many drivers also report gains in financial literacy, time management, and digital communication skills through their platform experience. Sharing knowledge for a sustainable future The “Happy Money: Financial Wellbeing Made Possible” workshop featured Mr. Kittipat Saentaweesuk, financial expert at the Stock Exchange of Thailand and author of “Money Matters”, who led sessions titled “Debt-Free, Savings-Ready” and “Before Retirement.” His engaging lectures inspired drivers to plan their finances with purpose and build sustainable habits for the long term. The event received a warm response from over 60 drivers using Bolt platform, who actively participated in discussions and shared real-life experiences — reflecting their commitment to continuous self-improvement and responsible financial management. The collaboration between Bolt and the Stock Exchange of Thailand marks a significant step in advancing financial literacy among platform workers — the essential workforce of today’s digital economy. It aligns with Bolt’s broader mission to support the drivers using the Bolt platform not only through income opportunities but also through skill development and sustainable wellbeing, ensuring they thrive both on and off the platform.
